Christmas Wishlist

So there are a number of things I want for Christmas... Here is a list!

Skyrim - so I can slay dragons and stuff
A gaming PC - or at least all the parts so I can build one
A new Xbox headset - Turtle Beaches :D
A Lego set - Strange, I know, but I love Lego!

and probably a whole heap of other things, but cash is always good.

Modern Warfare 3 Michael Jackson Moonwalk Tribute?

So I was playing the MW3 campaign and I noticed this happen... So i held a grenade, turned on the PVR and hoped it would happen again... Surely enough it did, and I managed to capture it... :)

Mac Vs Pc

So, as an Apple fan, and user, I often get asked why I prefer Mac computers. This brings up the good old debate 'Mac VS PC.'

So as an Apple fan, I obviously prefer Macs, but unlike some, this does not mean that I do not support the Windows platform, in fact, I still really enjoy using Windows PC's.

In my opinion, I like using my Mac for photo and video editing, with its high resolution display and great performance. But no matter how much I would like it to, Macs have a severe lack of Video games.
This brings me to my liking for Windows computers, They have lots of games. Also, in terms of an actual PC case, it can be far more fun to build a PC from the ground up, and in some cases more affordable than a Mac.

Notice how I say in 'some cases' a PC could be cheaper. Despite the price of an Apple computer costing more from the start, I see the price as reasonable for what you are getting. I know people who compare a Mac and PC entirely based on the parts. They say they can build a high end gaming rig for less than a Mac, but the thing that that PC will always lack is Mac OSX. I know that there are Hackintosh computers out there, but the thing is they are illegal, no matter what anyone says, using the Mac operating system on a device not made by Apple is breaking the terms of use. Also, in the case of an iMac, for a computer of similar specs + the Apple cinema display (because no mater what anyone says, a 1920X1080 screen can't compare with a 2560X1440 especially at 27 inches) the price is incredibly similar.

Also, when you buy an Apple product, you are buying a quality, and a product that just looks amazing. Also in the case of a Mac computer, you can boot Windows anyway! Legally!

In the end though the decision is up to you. You can have a Mac, or a PC, or a Mac with Windows dual booted on it, or in my ideal case both a Mac and a PC :D

Modern Warfare 3 First Startup

So, on the night of MW3's launch I got my unboxing setup ready, quickly unboxed it and started it up. I recorded my first startup and this is it. Unfortuanately I had lost the cable for my video camera, and surely enough, I could not upload my unboxing straight away like I had hoped. So I decided to play my first couple of games and record them instead.

Gears 3 Limited Edition Unboxing

This is just a post about my Gears 3 unboxing video. This was my first attempt at an unboxing video, and I did it only moments after arriving home from the midnight launch of Gears 3. I do not think I did too badly, just I repeated 'pretty cool' a few too many times.
